Of the purge blower in the exhaust gas treatment system is to remove pollutants and protect the system, such as:

1. Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) System

The purge fan injects clean air into the bottom of the regenerator, sweeping any remaining untreated exhaust gas from the switching process into the combustion chamber for thorough oxidation, thus preventing direct exhaust gas discharge and the resulting reduction in purification efficiency. During this process, the purge air pressure must be slightly higher than the exhaust gas inlet pressure (typically an increase of 1000 Pa) to effectively displace any remaining gas.

The purge fan operates in conjunction with the burner, main fan, and other equipment, executing a purge sequence during system startup or shutdown to reduce the risk of explosion from combustible accumulation. Its efficient purge also reduces heat loss and improves heat recovery efficiency.

2. Catalytic combustion exhaust gas treatment system

Pretreatment stage: The purge fan is used to remove residual particulate matter in the pipeline to prevent clogging of the subsequent catalytic bed.

Desorption stage: After the activated carbon is saturated with adsorption, the purge fan provides a hot air flow to desorb the organic matter and send it into the catalytic combustion chamber for decomposition.

System protection: Prevent coking on the catalyst surface by purging to maintain reaction efficiency.

3. VOCs control system

Adsorption concentration device: The purge fan blows organic matter out of the activated carbon during the desorption process and enters the catalytic combustion unit.

Pipeline anti-blocking: In the chemical, spraying, and other industries, purge fans prevent the VOCs exhaust pipes from being blocked by sticky substances.
