The carbon dioxide removal fan (referred to as the carbon removal fan) on ships is mainly used in the following scenarios:

1. Air purification in crew living areas
Marine decarbonization fans circulate and purify air within enclosed cabins, effectively removing carbon dioxide and other harmful gases (such as ammonia and sulfides) to ensure breathing safety for crew members. They are used in crowded areas such as crew quarters, the wheelhouse, and mess halls.

2. Ventilation requirements for carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems
According to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations, the storage room (CO₂ station) of a ship's carbon dioxide fire extinguishing system must be equipped with efficient ventilation equipment to ensure rapid exhaust of CO₂ in an emergency to prevent suffocation. For example, the ventilation system must provide at least six air changes per hour and typically uses a centrifugal fan (such as a stainless steel fan with an air volume of 30,000 m³/h).

3. Special scenario applications
Ocean-going vessels: Used to control CO₂ concentration in enclosed spaces such as engine rooms and cargo holds, especially to maintain air quality during long voyages.
CO₂ carriers: When transporting liquefied CO₂, fans are required to balance the gas pressure in the cabin to prevent leakage risks.

Q: Can your packaging ensure the safety of the product?

We wrap the inlet and outlet of the fan, as well as the motor, with stretch film and then secure the fan in a wooden box, which can fully protect the product during transportation and handling.
